In SYNC couples edition.

Every Wednesday we will be publishing our interviews with one of your favourite South African Christian Hip Hop “creatives”. But this is the last Wednesday of love month here at SACHH and we can’t help but want to celebrate love with another installment of our couples edition, this time featuring JD Crosson and his fiancé Tiffany Julius.

Their connection is undeniable; anyone who has seen them together can see that Tiffany and Josè love one another and enjoy each other’s company. In one of their social media posts, they refer to one another as besties and partners in life. They encourage and support on one another in every aspect of life, Tiffany is an educator and JD Crosson is a Christian urban artist, together they are a couple that is sold out for God, their passion for God and ministry is evident through stage which they got engaged on; the 316 Urban Revival, the couple got engaged on the 7th of September 2019 at the first installment #316Urban Revival, which they work together with Mr. and Mrs. Allan P to plan and implement this vision of revival in the urban culture. We got to ask them a few questions about their love, and wedding plans…

What is the cheesiest thing your partner has done?

JD: She bought me a bunch of sweet treats for my birthday and had a message attached to it for eg.Attached to a Tex chocolate it would say “I love Tex-ting you” lol such a cutie

Tiffany: Cheesy but also super cute. He proposed using a ring on a milk carton promising me a “long life”. I loved that ring.

Let’s talk faith, how important is including God to a relationship?

JD: He is our life. How can I learn about loving my fiancé if I do not know the God who is Love? We are so dependent on Him.

Tiffany: Including God is everything. It’s our oxygen. Can’t do anything without Him. Our lives and conversations are centered around Him.

What song best describes your partner?

JD: I have loads of songs that I wrote that best describes her, lol cause I know her better than anyone

Tiffany: Ella Mai- Found

How do you balance intimacy with God, work, family, and romance?

JD: God is in everything so I spend time with Him in everything I do and the rest balances itself out well

Tiffany: This seems like a difficult question but it’s actually simple if you put God in everything then he becomes everything. Just try to live in the moment and give the moment your all.

What scripture best describes the love that you share?

JD: Song of Solomon lol

Tiffany: Everything good and lovely

When is the wedding? Can we gate crash?

JD: It’s definitely this year 2020 and Sure you can gate crash, all the best with finding us haha

Tiffany: Lol, it’s soon

Although they have not given the address to gatecrash their wedding we do pray a blessing over the couple for all the wedding preparations and most importantly the marriage preparations. We are inspired by the love that they share which is rooted in the love of God, mutual respect and friendship.

“Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to
the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called
‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to
his wife, and they become one flesh.”

Gen 2:22 – 24
