In Sync with LC Sonique Interview

It’s that time again where you get close and personal with one of the SA CHH creatives. This week we get to know the transformed LC Sonique.

They call me LC Sonique (Official Trailer)

The artist started out as an artist from the east seeking only to find solace and freedom through music. He was working hard to fulfill his dream when COVID-19 halted it all and the question the whole world echoed was “what if I do die, what then?” The question led him to the feet of Jesus and there LC Sonique’s life took a 180° turn and the rapper who used to seek his own kingdom now sought out God’s. Born Leon Cedras, the artist got his name Sonique from his football skills, and the prefix LC is from his name. He still coaches football and says he hasn’t lost that sonic speed on the field. But beyond that he is growing in his faith and music, investing in growing the reach of SA CHH on the unsaved youth.

Together with his manager Simphiwe Nkosi and the rest of his team, they hosted a CHH event that pulled in many of your favorite SA CHH artists to perform in Alberton and that is just the beginning of what they are planning to implement for the sake of the kingdom. Personally, he decided to remove most of his previous projects because the message he shared in the past is no longer relevant to the person he is now nor the message he wants the listeners to hear. The singles that have made it past the cut are Exchange, Don’t You Dare, The music, and also the two of his most recent singles Wake Me and Love. But he is working on his CHH debut album, soon to be announced here on SACHH.

He is fairly new to the SA CHH scene and his musical style is yet to be witnessed but the reception of Wake Me if any indication at all is a testament to the dedication of the artist and we are anticipating boss moves from this artist.

You can connect with him on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to find out the latest on LC Sonique. Listening to his testimony makes one thing ever more apparent the harvest is plenty but the rappers are few and God has a purpose for each rapper in his or her area of influence.

SACHH raises the flag and raises the bars.
