Covid has definitely spoiled many plans but as the levels have eased you will be pleased to hear that LC Sonique’s team is bringing you the Six8Four concert on the 8th of May 2021. “This event will be an annual event and we want to make sure that with each event we grow the fanbase for CHH, the line-up and in general the awareness of the culture we pushing together with everyone involved,” the organisers explained.

The main vision is to grow the Christian Hip Hop culture. Growing it by investing in ourselves as artist, radio presenters, magazine writers and creating platforms in which we can showcase what Christian hip hop on Stage.

“We want to make music that will resonate with the youth. We want the youth to be able to play CHH with friends and still have a good time. In doing so we have to create platforms like these events or concerts where the youth can have fun will embrace CHH. Our biggest achievement will be winning people over…people who did not or fully believe in God. If we can just bring 2 or 3 people close to God or helping them find salvation through music then we have achieved a lot as a team,” remarked the organisers. For this event, the tickets will be sold at the gate. They do promise however that at the next event, people will be able to book their tickets online.

The line includes some of the rising Christian Hip Hop artists such as JusThabo and Allan P who will be headlining the event, then they have Keagan Holland and his coming with his band, the new kid on the block LC Sonique and 2 Dj’s Milo April and FNYKS. Six8Four will be hosted by Blaque Nubon, so don’t get caught snoozing if you are in the area come through to Alberton at Lavonne Devine from 4 pm until 10 pm kusazobalit.

Six8Four is symbolic of psalm 68:4 saying “sing to God, sing praises to his name, lift up a song to him who rides through the desert, his name is the lord, exalt before him!”
